Andrea Prieto

My art is just an expression of my subconscious. I use it as a tool to bring to the surface thoughts and feelings that otherwise would stay in the dark. For this, spontaneity is key. I let my feelings take control and disregard all logic.

I have always had a strong connection to the arts, influenced mostly by my family. From an early age I learned how to draw a human body with the correct proportions and understand the use and application of the light. At the age of 15 I became captivated by photography. I dedicated most of my free time to capture my surroundings and the people close to me. Now I?m focused on creating illustrations. I am always drawn to the idea of simplicity. This is the reason why most of my pieces are black and white outlines.
